MONTEBELLO, CA (December 6, 2011) - TASCAM, a world leader in recording devices, in its ongoing commitment to providing new firmware updates has issued firmware version V1.10 to HS-P82 8-track pro field recorder. This firmware update includes three new functions to make this user-friendly unit even more intuitive to use.
A mirror recording functions has been added to firmware version V1.10. This allows simultaneous recording to 2 CF cards.
Previously, slate mic signal or the slate tone signal (built-in oscillator) was only assigned to the armed tracks while pressing down the SLATE key located on the front panel. Now with the update, the SLATE function can be left ON, simply by holding down the SHIFT key while pressing the SLATE key.
Lastly, Take END time code (END T/C) has been added to the take information pop-up display.
