The tested and proven RX Series surge protection circuitry is now available in power control products. Test results published on the Juice Goose web site show the effectiveness of this circuitry in limiting line to neutral surges to 10 volts and ground line surges to 0.50  volts. While still available in the RX 10 and RX 100, premium surge protection is now available in a sequencer (CQ1520-RX $695 - Compare with SurgeX SEQ 1U) and web based power control (iP1520-RX $970 – Compare with Middle Atlantic RLNK-SW820R-SP).

Advances in battery design make electric cars practical. Now, the same battery type is in the new, slim line, light weight SL-350 UPS. This ultra small battery backup measures only 7” x 9” x 1.25”. It weighs only 3.4 lbs and has a list price of $359.

An addition to the JG Series of rack mounted power distribution, the new JG 9NS has no switch. Not always is the absence of a feature a good thing. But, in cases where that switch can be a temptation to unqualified AV “operators” that absence is a blessing. List price for JG 9NS is $91. This product will be available in June.

When communication security and or redundancy is important, CloudGate automatically resolves common problems associated with data networks.  This communications processor and router can be configured into a network using cellular, Ethernet or serial or combinations of those. Using the on board Linux based processor and data storage a broad array of installation specific AV or security applications is possible.
