REMOTE FOV & ZOOM CONTROLD40V is factory equipped with a variable 2.7-13.5mm motorized zoom lens, capable of remotely changing the D40V’s field of view from a tight 28° at full 13.5mm zoom all the way out to a wide 104° at 2.7mm. This enables operators to dial in the perfect shot while checking the camera on the app or a local monitor. When ideally installed, one D40V can provide a wide view of a lobby then zoom in on a doorway or reception desk when needed. Over a cash register, bills & hand motions can be tightly monitored. 
SHARP-EYED & SMART TOOBeyond low light skills, D40V’s native 4MP resolution (2688 x 1520 pixel) for excellent D.O.R.I. performance, it enhances edge definition for the camera’s FlexSmartAi system, providing the dense data points needed for both 90% fewer false alarms and AI-enhanced intelligent motion detection (IMD) and IVS tripwire performance. Part of the D40V’s Ai is dedicated to the camera’s scene-adaptive H.265 compression that uses a multi-frame reference scheme with intelligent noise reduction and video compression, for ultra-sharp details while still saving up to 70% of bandwidth compared with standard H.265.
