The Artison in-wall pre-build boxes are designed to provide a sealed and well-braced in-wall subwoofer enclosure for the RCC 300 and RCC 600 subwoofer modules. The IWPBB fits into a standard 2 x 4 stud bay with 16" on-center stud spacing. The IWPBB allows the easy installation of a high performance subwoofer in any room minimizing any acoustical concerns of using an in wall speaker. The back box installs into either an available stud bay in the early stages of home construction or are easily retrofitted into an existing home. The sealed air volumes are specifically designed to optimize the performance of the RCC600-SM or RCC300-SM Subwoofer Modules. The IWPBB designs have two mounting flanges on the vertical edges of the enclosure with pre-drilled mounting holes for the subwoofer box to be mounted directly onto the face of the studs. The front of the subwoofer enclosures are chamfered (back-cut) so that the box can be simply taped and mudded into the surrounding wall and can then be treated with the same wall treatment as the room. This design does not require installing drywall over the box to complete the installation, saving time and money.
