APC by Schneider Electric, a global leader in integrated critical power and cooling services, has announced the winners of its 2008 APC Custom AV Manufacturer’s Representative and Dealers of the Year Awards. An awards presentation was held in Orlando on June 17 at the InfoComm ‘09 Conference, the largest and most comprehensive professional and commercial AV event in the world. The APC Custom AV Award winners were selected based on year-over-year revenue growth, sales volume and customer satisfaction. An extraordinary amount of candidates, totaling 12 custom manufacturers’ representatives and more than 500 custom dealers, were considered for the award.

Orion Integrated Systems, an independent manufacturers’ representative firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was honored with the 2008 APC Custom AV Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year Award. Orion specializes in designing custom residential control systems, high-end audio-video electronics and theater interiors throughout Florida and the Caribbean. Asked about the successes that lead to winning the award, Scott Summers, owner of Orion, said “APC’s strong products, coupled with Orion’s more than 30 years of experience, makes for a winning combination. We are thrilled to be recognized for our dedication to the APC brand.”

2008 APC Custom AV Dealers of the Year Award Winners

Northeast – Frankentek (www.frankentek.com) is a Medford, New Jersey-based design, engineering and installation firm with more than 20 years of experience in custom home electronics. Frankentek holds offices internationally and has been an APC dealer since 2007.

Southeast – Jobe Systems (www.jobesystems.com) of Houston, Texas, has provided custom, lifestyle-enhancing electronic products for more than a decade and has been an APC supporter since 2006.

Midwest – Triphase Technologies (www.triphase-tech.com), headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, and founded in 1997, is known for its innovative design, high-quality installations and superior customer service. Triphase has been working with APC since 2006.

West – Hermary’s (www.hermarys.com) of San Carlos, California, has completed more than 1,500 sophisticated electronics design and installation projects in the past 45 years.
